PPE worn: hard hat, fall protection per 2.9 during erection, boots, gloves

ℹ️ CSTC 3.9.4 points to 2.9: not only more than 3 m — also 1.2 m on a vehicle, 1.5 m with a load, and no-height cases (liquid, moving part, dangerous equipment).

Stable base — mudsills/timbers + screw jacks in place

Components inspected: frames, cross-braces, locks, platforms

No work under occupied sections without protection (CSTC 3.9.4)

ℹ️ 3.9.4 (6): other work under occupied sections only if protected against falling objects.

2.4.1 (2) plans filed if the case applies (9 m wood, 18 m metal, or other)Critical

ℹ️ CSTC 2.4.1 (2): also cantilever > 2.4 m, vehicle-mounted, flying/bosun, tied mast-climber (except jack scaffolds). Signed and sealed by the manufacturer’s engineer.

Assembly and dismantling under supervision and control of a qualified personCritical

Cross-bracing on each side of frames

Vertical locks per the manufacturer / erection notice

Tied to wall if height > 3× minimum base width

Full guardrails: top rail 1–1.2 m, mid rail, toeboard ≥ 90 mm (CSTC 3.8.3)Critical

Disassembly from top to bottom — reverse of erection
