Risks and prevention — Surveying and layout

Surveyors on site face traffic risks (roadside work), contact with moving heavy equipment, and falls into excavations. High-visibility vests are mandatory at all times on site.

Working near overhead power lines with conductive rods or staffs poses electrocution risk. Non-conductive rods must be used near lines. Constant communication with equipment operators is essential for surveyor safety.
