Why daily inspection — Scissor lift
Scissor lifts are frequently involved in tip-over incidents, especially on uneven or sloped surfaces. CSA B354.2 and the CSTC require a pre-use inspection covering guardrails, controls, leveling systems, and base stability.
Maximum capacity includes workers, tools, and materials. Driving while elevated is strictly limited to manufacturer conditions. Outdoor use is subject to manufacturer wind limits.
