Why daily inspection — Wheel loader

Wheel loaders operate in zones with heavy foot and vehicle traffic. CSTC 3.10.12 requires a backup alarm on listed vehicles. A pre-shift walk-around is good practice; 2.15.1 e) applies to lifting apparatus.

Tire pressure directly affects machine stability. Center pivot joints must be checked for excessive play. The bucket should be inspected for cracks and loose mounting bolts.

Inspect the loader before the first cycle: backup alarm, seatbelt, mirrors, and leaks. A photo of the defect plus a PDF report closes the loop with maintenance.
