Check tires — pressure, wear, cuts, nuts tight

Inspect bucket / attachment — teeth, cutting edge, pins, wear

Check hydraulic hoses and cylinders — no leaks

Inspect lift arms and articulation — cracks, play

Check fluid levels: hydraulic, engine, transmission, coolant

Check headlights, backup lights, beacon and backup alarm

ROPS / FOPS structure intact — no deformationCritical

Fire extinguisher present and charge verified

Check window, mirror and backup camera cleanliness

Start — check gauges and dashboard warning lights

Test service and parking brakes

Test steering — smoothness, no play

Test arm raise / lower and bucket tilt

Check horn and backup alarm

Seat belt present and functional

Test travel speeds — forward and reverse

Record hourmeter reading

Log any deficiency in the inspection register

Report any major deficiency to supervisorCritical
