Why daily inspection — Dump truck

Dump trucks combine heavy-vehicle risks with dumping and overhead-line hazards. A SAAQ circle check applies if GVWR requires it — follow the official SAAQ guide. Not a CSTC “every shift” pair.

Tip-over during dumping on uneven ground is a common risk. Operators must check ground stability, overhead lines, and body lock before raising. Hinges, cylinders, and safety pins must be inspected for wear and leaks.
