Why daily inspection — Backhoe loader
Backhoe loaders combine loading and excavating functions, multiplying risk points: crushing, underground utility strikes, and lateral tip-over during digging. CSTC 3.10.12 covers the backup alarm. Checking both ends before the shift is good practice, not a universal documented duty.
Stabilizers must be deployed and properly blocked before any backhoe operation. Switching between loader and backhoe mode must be secured by mechanical lockout of the unused end.
