Risks and prevention — Drywall and interior systems
Drywall and interior system installation exposes workers to musculoskeletal strain (4×12 sheets weigh up to 50 kg), falls from interior scaffolds, and dust from joint compound sanding. RSST requires respiratory protection during compound sanding.
Drywall carts, board lifts, and rolling platforms reduce ergonomic risk. Suspended ceilings require structural capacity verification before installation and safe work-at-height access.
